Becoming That Girl: “Nothing changes if nothing changes."
It all begins with an idea.
Hello, beautiful souls! We’re Temie and Roumina, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to the very first blog post on Life's Ink! As we embark on this exciting journey together, we want to share our experiences, thoughts, and tips to help you become *that girl*—the one who embraces her dreams and takes action despite her fears.
Starting something new can be both exhilarating and intimidating. We’ve felt the weight of self-doubt and the fear of failure, especially as we launch Life's Ink. But, we believe that growth often comes from stepping outside our comfort zones. Here are some tips we’ve found helpful in overcoming self-doubt and kickstarting new projects:
1. Acknowledge Your Feelings
It’s completely normal to feel uncertain when starting something new. Acknowledge your self-doubt without letting it define you. Remember, every successful person has faced similar feelings at some point!
2. Reflect on Your Passion
Take some time to think about what truly excites you. What are you passionate about? What makes your heart race? Write these thoughts down—this is the foundation for your journey.
3. Pray and Seek Guidance
Take a moment to pray to God and meditate on your desires. Seek clarity and guidance as you embark on a new path. Trust that the Lord is with you and He has plans to prosper you.
4. Set Small, Achievable Goals
Break your project down into smaller, manageable steps. Celebrate each milestone, no matter how small. This approach makes the journey less overwhelming and keeps you motivated!
5. Connect with Others
Reach out to friends, family, or communities who share your interests. Surrounding yourself with supportive people can boost your confidence and provide encouragement along the way.
6. Take the Leap
Life is too short to wait for the “perfect” moment. Embrace the uncertainty and take that first step! Remember, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” So, go for it!
As we navigate this new venture, we want to create a space where we can support each other. We’re all in this together! We’d love to hear from you—what projects are you considering? How do you feel about starting something new? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Here’s to Becoming That Girl!
With love,
